The commitment of Captain Findus for the health of oceans.

In 2022, Findus continues to confirm its commitment to ensure a sustainable future for the oceans by implementing concrete projects to actively take care of them. We have supported their CSR journey by working alongside them to inform stakeholders and consumers of this important commitment.

Challenge

Findus, a leader in the frozen food industry in Italy and part of the Nomad Foods group, has been committed to sustainability for years. In 2022, the brand decided to summarize its commitment to ocean conservation in a manifesto: Fish for Good and asked us to find an innovative way to communicate it to the media.

Actions

We chose to tell Findus' manifesto by using World Oceans Day (June 8th) as a media hook, starting from specific projects implemented to protect our seas: the adoption of seabin, waste-eating baskets, in different Italian locations, and innovative devices for water cleaning. And we did this live, with an exclusive press tour in Venice for selected journalists, where we inaugurated, together with Captain Findus, the Pixie Drone, a next-generation device that can collect floating waste and microplastics.
