The smartphone phenomenon in the time of pandemics
Along with Facile.it analysts, we studied the (continuously increasing) figures about consumption habits and smartphone usage. We told the media about these figures through a pop and very topical news peg: a never seen research about new smartphone usage styles in the time of Covid, ranging from consumers age to their expenses.
Challenge
Our challenge: supporting the Mobile Unit of Facile.it by generating traffic on the website and by strengthening the relationships with their customer companies; highlighting the criticalities of the excessive use of smartphones and offering solutions through Facile.it portal, which helps users to find the best offers.
Actions
We carried out an unprecedented research and told it to the media with three new angles for three different media targets: in the case of low-cost media, we told about how Italians manage their expenses through their smartphones; in the case of tech media, we told that the age when people buy their first mobile phone has changed; in the case of more generalist and consumer-focused media, we gave fresh insights about where and how people use their smartphones.
